APPS4GS Cookies Policy
This policy explains what cookies the apps4gs.com website (the “Website”) sets, why, and how you can control them. The Website is operated by Mikalai Mikhuta JDG, trading as APPS4GS (“APPS4GS”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).
We do not set any cookies unless you agree to them. When you first visit the Website you are asked whether we may measure how the site is used. If you decline, nothing is stored on your device and nothing is sent to any analytics service. You can change your mind at any time — see How to withdraw your consent below.
Our legal basis for these cookies is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, and nothing on the Website stops working if you do.
This policy covers the Website only. Our Google Workspace add-ons run inside Google’s own interface and do not set APPS4GS cookies; how they handle your data is described in Google Workspace add-ons and your data safety.
What are cookies
Cookies are small pieces of text a website asks your browser to store on your device, so it can recognise the same browser on a later visit.
Cookies can be “persistent” or “session” cookies. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them; session cookies are removed as soon as you close your browser.
Websites can also store information without using cookies at all, for example in your browser’s local storage. Where this policy says “cookies”, it means both.
What cookies we use
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can decide what to improve. These cookies are set only after you accept, and only by apps4gs.com itself — they are first-party cookies, not advertising cookies, and they are not used to build a profile of you or to identify you personally.
Through these cookies Google Analytics records which pages you read, how long you stay, the site or search that brought you here, and your device, browser and approximate location (country and city level). Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; your IP is used to work out that approximate location and then discarded. None of this tells us who you are, and we never combine it with the name or email address you give us when you buy from us or contact us.

We set nothing else. The Website has no advertising cookies, no social-media trackers, no embedded third-party content, and no accounts or sign-in.
The a4gs-consent entry is the one exception to the rule above: it is created whichever choice you make, including when you decline, because its only job is to record that choice. It contains nothing but the word “granted” or “denied” and the date.
Who receives this information
Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process the analytics data on our behalf as our analytics provider. This means Google receives it, and information may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States.

We have switched off Google’s own data-sharing settings, so Google may not use these statistics for its own products and services, for benchmarking, or for modelling. Google Signals is off and no Google Ads account is linked to this property, so the data is never used for advertising.
Apart from Google, acting as our analytics provider on our instructions, we do not pass your data to anyone else, and we never sell it.

What are your choices regarding cookies
Declining costs you nothing. The Website has no features that depend on cookies — every page, guide and document works exactly the same whether you accept or decline. The only difference is whether your visit is included in our page-view counts.
You have several options, and they can be combined:
- Decline in the banner. Nothing is stored and Google Analytics is never loaded.
- Withdraw your consent later. See below.
- Delete or block cookies in your browser. See below.
- Opt out of Google Analytics everywhere. Google offers a browser add-on (opens in a new tab) that switches it off on every website you visit, not just ours.
How to withdraw your consent
Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. The banner reappears and you can change your answer.
If you accepted before and now decline, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your device immediately and stop loading Google Analytics.
How to delete or block cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies for individual sites or for all sites:

- Microsoft Edge: Delete cookies in Microsoft Edge (opens in a new tab)

Note that clearing your browser data also removes the a4gs-consent record, so the Website will ask you about cookies again on your next visit.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we store, we will update this page and ask for your consent again rather than relying on an answer you gave about something else. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
